Women's Ministry

First Baptist Wylie Women's Ministry will strive to be a resource and aid to women as their lives are transformed to become more like Christ as they grow in faith, Christian maturity and service though interaction with God, His Word and one another, and seek a fellowship full of warmth and acceptance.   There are many opportunities available to help you along this journey to becoming the woman Christ wants you to be. These opportunities will inspire your heart, enrich your life and strengthen your relationships… especially your relationship with the Lord.

This ministry opportunities include women only bible studies, community, missions, and caring  programs and other ministries for your involvement in the church and community and of course our Growth Groups. We want to partner with you as you grow.

                   2 Corinthians 3:18

18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Discipleships

Growth Groups – A small group of people of all ages who usually meet weekly to study the bible, to support and encourage each other, and to fellowship together. Groups can be co-ed, gender specific or groups of people in similar life circumstances like single families, blended families, etc.

Click here to see a list of all the Growth Groups.

Women’s Life Groups – A group of people (usually 8 or less) who meet regularly for a more intense bible study, accountability, support and encouragement.

Bible Studies – Bible studies are the core of women’s ministry and are a group of women that gather to study a particular book written by a Christian author and pertaining to various needs of women. This can also be a more intense bible study on a specific book of the bible. True ministry begins when women know God’s word and how to use it in practical daily situations.

List of bible studies coming soon.
