Staff

Lloyd joined the staff of First Baptist Wylie in August of 2015. He is a native of the Mississippi Gulf Coast where he worked for 17 years for Dupont Chemical before surrendering to a call of full-time ministry in 2004. He has nearly 20 years of ministry experience serving churches in Mississippi, Alabama and now the great state of Texas. Lloyd married his high school sweetheart Stephania, they have two children Kayla and Brian.

When Lloyd and Stephania are not spending time with students they both enjoy hunting, boating, snow skiing and every kind of sports. It is their desire to help students come to a saving knowledge of Christ, teach them what it looks like to walk with Him daily, and model servant leadership.

Lloyd’s favorite passage of scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
