Staff

Robert joined the staff of FBW in February of 2013 and has been in his current role as Kids Pastor since November 2015. An East Texas native, Robert grew up in Gladewater, Texas and later served in the United States Marine Corps. He attended Kilgore College and Texas State University from which he received a Bachelors in Business Management degree. Robert is supported in ministry by his wife, Marla, and their three children, Kolton, Josh and Emma.

Robert is passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all people and desires to train up the next generation of unashamed disciple makers. A daily coffee consumer, he enjoys reading, playing golf and drumming during his free time.

Robert’s loves the book of Romans with special affection for his life verse, Romans 1:16, "For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”
